Size and scale

Smaller than the real thing. Bigger than you are picturing.

These are display pieces, not toys and not full-size props. Most of the range sits between 17.5 and 20 cm end to end — roughly as long as a sheet of A4 is wide. Small enough to stand on a shelf beside a monitor without taking the desk over, big enough that the printing and the engraving still read from across the room.

They are metal, so they have real weight to them. Pick one up and it does not feel like a keyring.

About Skin2life

I make these by hand

I have played these games for years, and I always wanted the skins I kept staring at to exist properly. Something you can actually pick up.

So my team and I make them. Most are die-cast metal, finished and spray-painted by hand, piece by piece. A few are made on CNC machines and 3D printers.

They are collectibles, made for display.

Frequently asked questions

Shipping, returns and what actually turns up in the box.

Ask us anything
How long will my order take?

Orders are dispatched within 2–5 business days. Delivery then runs 15–40 days, and around 80% of orders arrive inside 30. Tracking follows once it is available — it can lag a little behind dispatch.

Where does my order ship from?

Most pieces ship directly from our suppliers in China. Some stock is held in overseas warehouses, so the origin depends on your delivery address and what is available at the time.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, worldwide. Import duties and taxes may be charged by your local customs on delivery. These are not included in the order total.

Can I return a piece?

You have 30 days from delivery to start a return, and orders shipped into the EU also carry the 14-day right to cancel. Email skin2life@hotmail.com and we will send instructions and a return label. Pieces need to be unused and in their original packaging.

Are the knives sharp?

No. Every knife is an unsharpened trainer with no cutting edge — stainless steel with the edge left blunt, made for display and flipping practice rather than use. Please never grind or sharpen one. Rules on owning and carrying knife-shaped objects vary by country, so check yours before ordering; balisongs in particular are restricted in some places.

How do you make the products?

Most are die-cast metal handicrafts, finished by hand — my team and I spray the paint onto each piece ourselves. A few are made with automated equipment such as CNC machines and 3D printers. Most of these weapons are fictional and do not exist in real life, so they also have to be redesigned before they can be built at all.

Which skin should I make next?

Eleven pieces so far, and hundreds of skins I could do next. I would rather build the one people actually want than guess.
